Hi, I'm Carol! Traveling and learning about new cultures and perspectives is my passion, lifestyle and what gives me purpose. It's where my GPS is programmed to go. I see myself as a middle-woman; a cultural translator; an intermediary: between cultures, people, words, ideas and images. Adapting a concept from one culture to another; translating imagination into reality; taking words and turning it into a visual: those are the streets I take. The roads I walk. My vehicles along those roads are my camera, journal, computer, and pen & paper. I let my eyes be my guide, my mind as my companion. My hands and mouth are what knock on doors and birth something new through the filter of my mind and eyes into this world.
